The subject of Female Ejaculation (better known as squirting outside of the medical world) has been one of major discussion and debate over decades.  With so much talk about  “wetting the bed” and “making your body leak” in current secular music, this topic is something that I had to touch on for you ladies.  The origin, cause and complete makeup of Female ejaculation is still unclear to a number of medical professionals, but most have come to a neutral understanding about the act of squirting and it’s makeup in order to help women understand it.

The first thing to realize about female ejaculation is that it’s normal. Experiencing this for the first time may feel like you are urinating on yourself, but don’t worry, female ejaculation IS NOT URINE! Yes, this fluid does come from your urethra, but it is a fluid that is created in the SKENE’S GLAND that is located near the urethra and is said to be a part of the G-spot. The Skene’s glad is similar to the prostate gland in men, so when you are aroused during sex, the fluid builds up in the glad.  The fluid is said to be made up of proteins and sugar just like male ejaculate. The only difference in our ejaculate is the absence of Sperm.

According to some medical professionals, the Skene’s Gland is not present in every woman which may explain why some women do not ejaculate. However, according to Dr Laura Berman, Every woman can learn to ejaculate.  Women who don’t experience “squirting” go through what is called “retrograde ejaculation” where the fluid that has built up in the Skene’s Glad moves back into the bladder instead of coming out during the peak of an orgasm.  During an orgasm, we tend to squeeze and clinch inward which causes that fluid to flow back into the bladder, but if you release and squeeze out like you are urinating during your peak, you will ejaculate and have a harder and much more heightened orgasm. Again, the fluid is coming from your urethra, but you ARE NOT URINATING. It is the same sensation as urinating, except the fluid, once again, is created in and coming from a separate gland than urine.

Men find it quite sexy for a woman to “squirt”. From my questionings of “WHY this is sexy”, the answer I’ve gotten is simply because it makes them feel like they’ve done their job in pleasing you and making you feel amazing during sex.  So ladies, if you have never ejaculated during sex, just relax and release during your orgasm and enjoy! It’s the best feeling in the world…I know from personal experience!

A bit more information for you, the fluid is, as you rightly state, made up of fluids and proteins and it’s primary role is to provide a pH neutral environment that “waters down” the semen thus allowing the sperm to swim more easily in a friendly environment. All women should produce this fluid, it normally runs out of the urethra and into the vagina during clitoral and/or Gspot stimulation.
I wouldn’t like to comment on the part that says some women don’t have Skene’s glands, I would suggest that it could be more a case of some women have Skene’s glands that are more active than others. My theory is that some women produce more of the fluid than is required and it “backs up” in the urethra, it is then expelled during the contractions associated with a climax which produces the “squirting” phenomenon.

How would I bring this up to my wife to try this without sounding weird?

    • Posted March 2, 2012 at 2:57 pm | Permalink

The best way to bring up this subject to your wife would be to bring it up in casual conversation about sex. ask her if she has ever felt the sensation to pee when you are giving her head or penetrating her, and let her know that it is the sensation that comes right before ejaculating. Tell her to push out if an when she feels the urge to pee during sex and she will experience squirting

The best way to bring it up is not to but just to do it in secret and she will get it afterwards. Hahahaha.

Any suggestions on how to help improve the build-up and flow of a woman’s ejaculated fluids, also for better taste?

You can control the taste by having her eat a diet high in green vegetables and by drinking lots of water. Pineapples help as well. The build up happens during arousal, so the more you get her turned on and fired up, the more the fluid will build in the skene’s glands before the release. Longer arousal and foreplay=more fluid buildup

make sure you’re drinking enough water because if your body is dehydrated, then you may have little to no fluid that is produced

Tyomi, thanks for this opportunity to learn. I have a question: Can I make a woman squirt just by giving her head, seeing that cunninlingus doesn’t stimulate the g spot? Is it best to lick on the clitoris while fingering a woman if I want her to squirt? Thanks.

The only way I “squirt” is with a vibrator stimulating my clitoris. But whatever comes out kinda smells like pee, it’s kinda clear though but smells like pee. Would it be pee or am I ejaculating?

Prostatic fluid comes out of the urethra where urine also comes from so you may have a few drops of urine in the squirted fluid when you ejaculate, but no this fluid is not pee. Always make sure to empty your bladder before sex or self pleasuring and you will never have to guess.

Thank you for the information! I have felt that sensation of having to pee during sex and thought exactly that, I had to pee but now after reading I will definitely try to not hold back and see what happens! Thank you!

Really enjoyed this article, on the subject of taste, if you want your woman to taste nice then stay away from yeasty foods and also dairy, stick to the alkalizing foods and she will taste amazing.

I think I know why men like squirting.. it’s because they are visual creatures, and squirting is visual proof of a woman’s cumming. Men have something that come out of them when they cum, so of course it would be fascinating to them for that to also happen to a woman.
