The goal of every person within a sexual experience is to reach a climax, AKA the coveted ORGASM, but what exactly is happening to the body and the brain when a person’s sexual energy reaches a climatic peak?

Both men and women experience orgasms but the journey to get there is different for each sex. Women require mental stimulation as well as clitoral stimulation to reach an orgasm, whereas men can use visual stimulation to go from 0-100 REAL QUICK (Shouts out to Drake).

Want to know the science behind the orgasm and how men and women differ when it comes to this moment of ecstasy? Strap on your thinking caps and take a look at this awesome short video that sums up everything you didn’t learn in a semester of sex ed or physiology in high school (why couldn’t my sex ed teacher be as cool as me? lol)

It is a common belief that we all are born with an innate knowledge of how to have sex correctly, and unfortunately this is a common misconception. We are all born from sexual energy and are created as sexual beings, but we weren’t created with a manual on how to express ourselves sexually. Understanding the sexual body and the desires that come with it requires time, practice and patience, and these aren’t the things they teach us in elementary/High school in traditional sex education classes. Sure, we learn about the anatomy, names and placements of genitals, names of STDs and their symptoms and how procreation occurs, but truly understanding the sexual body is something that is kept off limits to preteens and teens, leaving us all to grow older wondering how to reach these heights of ecstasy that are spoken about in every song lyric and portrayed in the loves scenes in some of our favorite movies. It’s no surprise that many people turn to pornography as a way to educate themselves about sexuality and sexual performance when there isn’t a comprehensive sex education program being taught during the developing stages, but like many forms of entertainment pornography stretches the truth to create a fantasy around sexual performance. While there is nothing wrong with watching porn as a form of inspiration, there is a large disservice done in the department of true sexual education if one decides to prowl porn hub for “how to’s” to please their partners more thoroughly.

We have entered the month of June, which is not only the month that holds the first day of summer within it but it is also the month of Adult Sex Education. I know there may be quite a few of you sexually active adults thinking “I know all there is to know about sex” because you’ve had some great experiences with little complaints, but as the world evolves so does its understanding about sexuality and the sexual body. There is a plethora of information available about how to improve one’s sex life with a partner or within oneself, and the only way to maintain a healthy sex life is to continue on with education well into the gray years. It is commonly sex gets better with age, and it’s true because as we age our knowledge increases. Adult sex education isn’t just critical for sexual satisfaction, but also for a full awareness of self and all that life has to offer. Sexual energy is creative energy, naturally, because through sexual exchange creation is birth. Sex education is more than just sex positions, oral sex techniques and ways to make your partner reach electrifying orgasms. Sex education teaches us all the health benefits and risks of sex, helps us to understand our sexual bodies more thoroughly and teaches us how to express our sexuality in healthy ways to balance out our lives and improve the relationships around us.

Sex education doesn’t have to be boring or super clinical. The first thing you must do is to open your mind and believe that you can learn how to become more sexually aware and have the desire to do so. Make a commitment to add sex education to your weekly routine even beyond the month of June, and Glamerotica101.com will be here to guide you along the way!

There was a time when spitting game and expressing interest in someone was done face to face in verbal contact or over a voice to voice telephone conversation. Now with the development of technology and social media networks through the world wide web, it has become amazingly simple to connect and convey interest with just the click of a button. Facebook messages bulging with I love you’s are sent back and forth, tweets with pet names are exchanged, and photos “for your eyes only” are passed between lovers using the HD cameras on smart phones. Cheating and infidelity has rapidly increased over the last decade, and it is due, in part, to the easy access technology provides for two people to connect on “the low”. Sexting has been a topic of discussion for a few years now, and it’s popularity has increased as technology has advances. You may ask, wtf is sexting? Well if you are confused about what it is, let me shed some light on the definition.

Sexting-an exchange of sexual photos and conversations through text message; the new version of phone sex without verbal communication.

The Debate that has teetered back and forth about sexting is whether it is a form of cheating or simply a harmless act. Well, I’m here to shed some light on the situation and put down the facts about this issue. SEXTING IS NOT CHEATING. It is simply an expression of the fantasies that have been locked away in the subconscious of a person exchanged through sms communication. HOWEVER, this display of fantasy is a gateway that can lead to cheating. According to Dr. Rachel Carlton Abrams, M.D in “The Multi-Orgasmic Woman”, “expressing your inner thoughts in the open allows you to have more power over them than they have over you.” If you can express your fantasies out loud, you will be able to control your actions and thoughts better, but if you keep them locked away and suppressed, they have the tendency to manifest into negative actions and behaviors on the surface.

Our society has become an overindulgent race. We want more than what we already have, and often times seek out what others possess. Expressing your inner fantasies about the next person may give you control over your thoughts, but sexting back and forth puts you at a closer advantage to actually making those fantasies a reality. It takes true will power on the part of both individuals in the exchange to keep the physical contact from actually happening. Do I recommend sexting if you are a single individual with no attachments, but if you are in a monogamous relationship, sexting is not permitted. It will only lead to issues in the future. If you have fantasies that you would like to express, talk about them with your partner and see how you can make those fantasies become reality.

Welcome back you curious students! It’s a new week which means a new lesson on sex positioning for the novice and for the advanced. This week’s sex position requires a bit of flexibility from the female partner and is a missionary position. It is called “Shoulder Split” and it’s level of difficulty is moderate.

Benefits of this position
*It provides deep penetration
*It is relatively comfortable for both partners
*It creates intimacy between the two partners
*The clitoris can be stimulated in this position using a clitoral vibrator or the fingers of either partner

Hazards in this position
*The female partner may experience pain if her inner thigh muscles are tight
*The under leg that is resting on the bed may loose circulation if in this position for too long
*The female partner’s breathing can become shortened

Props or furniture needed
*A bed is the most desirable piece of furniture to use
*A pillow to prop the female partners’s head up
*CONDOMS are always a must
*Clitoral vibrator

Before going into any sexual experience, always know the STD status of your partner and your own status. To find a testing site near you, visit www.gytnow.org

DON’T FORGET TO USE CONDOMS TO REDUCE YOUR CHANCES OF CONTRACTING STDs

How to get into position

1) The female partner should lay on her back with her legs extended strait out on the bed. She can use a pillow to prop her head up for more comfort.

2) The male partner should then position himself on his knees at the feet of his partner and grab one of her legs to place over the shoulder of his choice. He should then straddle the leg that is laying in the bed and place the elevated leg over his shoulder.

3) At this point, he should be able to move closer to her pelvis and be in position for penetration.

If you choose to bring a clitoral vibrator into the bedroom for this position, the female partner can self stimulate while her partner gets in his long stokes. Vaginal lubrication will increase and the cervix will move closer to the uterus causing the vagina to lengthen for a more comfortable experience for her.

Enjoy!

Welcome to a new and exciting week for sex education! Class is now is session for sex positioning, and this week’s position is one of the simplest I’ve ever posted. Getting into this position is a breeze as it is the default position for every couple, even first timers. This week’s sex position is called “Missionary Eagle” and it is a missionary position that requires a bit of flexibility in the legs of the female partner.

Benefits of this position

*Easy and quick to get into
*intimacy is created through the face to face contact
*Comfortable for both partners
*Easy access to the vaginal opening because of the parted legs
*Deeper penetration can be achieved because of the angle of the legs

Hazards to look out for
*The female partner’s legs being parted and lifted in this way may become tired after a period of time
*The legs being pushed close to the female partners’s chest may cause a shortness of breath

Suggested furniture or props to use

*Bed
*Couch
*Floor
*Pillows can be used to prop up the female partner’s head

*If the floor will be used while executing this position, make sure to make a comfortable pallet on the floor from thick comforters and pillows to reduce the hardness of the floor on the back of the female partner and the knees of the male partner. Pillows can also be used

Getting into this position is simple and quick for those who are looking to get right to it. This position is also one that can be manipulated into other sex positions for a more varied sexual experience.

*ALWAYS REMEMBER TO PROTECT YOURSELF BY USING CONDOMS! And Know your STD status by getting tested. To find a testing site near you, visit www.gytnow.org

How to get into position

(1) The female partner should lay on her back with her legs bent and spread apart. She can choose to use a pillow to prop her head up if she chooses.

(2) The male partner should then position himself between his partners’s legs while on his knees and grab her legs, one I each hand, underneath the knee where it meets the thigh and lift and spread her legs farther apart and back towards her chest slightly. Once her legs are in position, the male partners’s hands will be free to caress her breasts, support his own weight while thrusting or to grab and reposition her legs.

(3) At this point, both partners should be in position and ready to get their eagle on! This position is also a great position for kissing and body to body contact.

Enjoy

If there is one thing we know as women, we know that the little round organ in between our lips gives us much pleasure, but how much do you REALLY know about the clitoris? Commonly we all know that it gives us great pleasure and causes stimulation that helps our vaginas become lubricated and ready for penetration, but there is more to that tiny organ than what meets the eye. This post is to help educate you about the most sensitive erogenous zone of your body so you can become more aware of its parts and functions. Fellas, if you are reading this, TAKE NOTES!

The first thing you must know is that the clitoris is similar in structure to the penis. why is there so much stimulation at the tip of the clitoris? Same reason why there is so much stimulation at the tip of the penis. They both are made from the same tissue and have the same nerve structure. The only difference is that the clitoris does not contain the urethra like in a penis. Women have separate urethrae apart from the clitoris. So I guess you can say we have more in common with men that we think!

The average size of the clitoris is about the size of a pea, even though some have been reported to be a bit larger in size. During sexual stimulation, the clitoris engorges itself with blood the same way the penis does and be comes erect. It is housed in a layer of skin called the clitoral hood, and the part we can see protruding on the surface is called the clitoral head. Underneath the surface, the clitoris is made up of a shaft, roots and masses of erectile tissue that create bulbs that extend down along the vaginal walls. The erectile tissue is what fills up with blood during stimulation and cases the clitoris to change in color and become erect. It also causes vaginal contractions that lead to an orgasm.
It is believed that stimulation of the clitoris is the main source of the female orgasm and that it plays a vital role in even the vaginal orgasm caused by penetration. According to Australian Urologist Dr. Helen O’Connell, The vaginal wall, in fact, is the clitoris. If you lift off the skin of f the vagina on the side walls, you get the bulbs of the clitoris” [October 2005, “Anatomy of the Clitoris”, The Journal of Urology 174] So as you can see, the clitoris is more than just the round little ball you play with during sex. It has inner workings that extend deeper into the vagina and aid in the female orgasm overall.

Some of you may have a clitoris that is easily visible and some may have a clitoris that hides within that skin called the clitoral hood, but whatever the case, remember that it is important that your partner stimulates this area to achieve an orgasm during sex. If your partner can’t find it, HELP HIM OUT! Everyone needs a little guidance at times, especially in the dark.

KNOW YOUR GENITALS AND LOVE YOUR GENITALS!
